Welcome back to The Senior Living Show.
Today we have Mary Beth Flynn with Artfully Aging.
Artfully Aging is a watercolor art program designed for seniors of all skill and care levels.
Their holistic approach makes each art session meaningful and therapeutic. They have strived to create a program where every participant can tap into their own creative nature while experiencing a sense of joy and empowerment through participation. Since 2010 Artfully Aging has been a pioneer in promoting creative aging in the St. Louis, MO senior community.
The goal of Artfully Aging is for each participant to experience their individual creative nature. Our mission is to provide quality programming along with practical hands-on training to ensure all participants can experience the many possible benefits.
How can one implement this program at their community or activity center?
Artfully aging has two ways your can implement this program into your community or activity center.
One way is in person sessions of 10 or less in the St. Louis area. Artfully Aging can facilitate the watercolor activity class for you.
Another way to implement the watercolor class is with the Do it yourself “How To” videos. Artfully Aging has developed a fully automated online program complete with “How to” videos. This has allowed us to serve an ever expanding number of seniors and senior communities nationwide. The “How to” videos are designed to provide activity staff and/or caregiver’s practical watercolor knowledge, as well as insightful approaches to working with all levels of senior care. We’ve thought of everything you need to simplify the process and maximize the benefits for your residents.
Projects come in quantities of five prepared watercolor sheets ready to paint. Art supplies available for order or purchase independently using our Supply List. Then, gain access to project specific “How to: staff videos.
The program is beneficial, simple and cost effective.
