How did Garden View Care Centers become the experts in Dementia Care?
Garden View Care Center has specialized in the field of Alzheimer’s, dementia care, and memory care for thirty years, so we understand and know the best ways to handle dementia patients.
Many of our referrals come from family members whose loved ones have been in our care. Garden View Care Center receives frequent referrals from social workers and doctors at local hospitals who are aware of our reputation as the experts in dementia care and memory care. The staff at all three locations receive certified training from the Alzheimer’s Association that focuses on how to work with and care for dementia residents. Our staff learns how to redirect behaviors while understanding the nature of dementia. All are aware of the impact of dementia on residents so that they can ensure each resident receives the care, respect, dignity, and quality of life they deserve.
How are the Garden View Care Centers environments different from other memory care communities?
Garden View Care Centers locally owned and managed for over 35 years. The longevity of our staff is something we pride ourselves in. Many of our staff members have been with us for 10-30 years. At each of our locations, you can view our Walls of Fame celebrating those staff members who have chosen to stay with us throughout the years as caregivers, maintenance crew, dietary managers, cooks, housekeepers, receptionists, managers and more.
Seed to table- Growing vegetables and herbs connects our residents with the energy & growth of Spring. Gardening therapy is an activity that nourishes mind, body and soul. It enriches the lives of our residents inside and out. Our chefs can prepare tasty and healthy meals for our residents using home-grown produce from our gardens.
Do you offer respite care at your communities?
Yes! While you are on vacation, your loved one can come to Garden View Care Center for vacation. Your loved ones will receive exceptional care from the skilled nursing staff at Garden View Care Center during their short-term stay with us. All three Garden View Care Center locations offer first-class hospitality, wonderful accommodations, spa services, delicious meals, and socialization. 24hr nursing care and rehabilitation services are available, if required.
