Come On, Let’s Sing! is all about empowering caregivers, and the ones they care for, to have a better day, everyday. We can help you do this by giving you the tools to add singing into your caregiving. Yes! Singing! It really works. Maybe you have experienced feeling more uplifted, more hopeful, more playful as a result of listening to someone singing. Believe it or not, YOUR singing can offer the one(s) you care for a lifeline of trust, safety, comfort and joy. And while you are helping others, your shared music experience will most likely help you! Give it a try. If you do not know where to start, let us help you.
Our music resources have been tailor made with you in mind. They are the result of a combined 40 years of experience of two music therapists working with people with dementia and the ones who care for them. We have created songbooks, lyric books, audio tracks, lyric videos and more to help you on this journey. These music-based caregiving tools can help you navigate caregiving with even more meaning and satisfaction.
We offers a range of tools for music-based caregiving, focused around a collection of over 100 familiar songs that are known across generations. Our Song Leader Book makes song-leading easy and interactive for anyone. The accompanying Lyric Book features unique illustrations for each song, alongside large-print lyric sheets to support memory recall. The corresponding Audio Recordings are in easy-to-sing keys and friendly arrangements invite everyone in the group to join in! Our Transform Your Facility program includes a set of Lyric Books, a Leader Book, Complete set of the 101 Audio Tracks, 101 Lyric Videos, and group Zoom training calls.
